It gets stuck or crashes

The 1st time it did a very good job with the picture but took a long time to savbe it and crashed. Thereafter does not stitch at all, it keeps trying and then I get a message on my Mac that I have ran out of memory!
I am changing my score from 1 to 3 star. the support responded promptly and making sure that pictures were overlapping sufficiently worked. the outcome however leaves something to be desired.
